OPTCL MT Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
Valid Score in the GATE 2022
- Candidate should have appeared and qualified GATE 2022 conducted by IITs and Marks Out of 100 should be mentioned while applying. The qualifying marks as declared by GATE 2022 Organizing Body shall be considered.

OPTCL Management Trainee Salary
- The Corporation offers a competative pay package. During the training period, they shall be paid a stipend of Rs. 50,000/-.
- Selected candidates will be placed on the pay scale of Pay Matrix is Rs. 56,100- Rs. 1,77,500 (Level EE-2) with an Initial Basic Pay of Rs.56,100/- after completion of the one-year training period.
- On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Manager (Electrical ) in level EE-2 in the pay scale – Pay Matrix is Rs. 56,100- Rs.1,77,500/.
OPTCL Recruitment 2022 – Selection Process
- The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering discipline paper of GATE 2022.
- Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2022.
- Candidates shortlisted for the Personal Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter.
OPTCL Application Fee
- For the unreserved/ SEBC category candidates the application fee is Rs. 1000/- plus applicable GST of Rs. 180/-. So total Rs. 1180/- for one application fee.
- For the SC/ ST/ PwBD category candidates the application fee is Rs. 500/- plus applicable GST of Rs. 90/-. So total Rs. 590/- for one application fee.
