NCESS Recruitment 2022 – Education Qualifications & Experience

1.	Laboratory Assistant	Qualification: Graduate degree in Geology/ Chemistry/ Physics from a recognized University / Institute.
2.	Field Assistant	Qualification: Graduate degree in Physics/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University/ Institute.
3.	Technical Assistant	Qualification: Graduate degree in Geology from a recognized University/ Institute. OR Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
4.	Project Associate-I	Qualification: Master’s degree in Geophysics/ Geology/ Marine Geophysics/ Applied Geology/ Water Resources or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute.
5.	Project Associate-II	Qualification: Master’s degree in Geophysics/ Geology/ Hydrochemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences/ Marine Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geoinformatics/ Water Resources or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute. Experience: Two years of research experience in gravity and magnetic data collection, data processing and modelling/ igneous petrology and geochemistry/ geochronology/ metamorphic petrology/ / field experience with hydrogeochemical analysis of water/ sediment quality assessment studies including groundwater/ spring water/ river water research. /relevant field in an R&D institute Two years of research/ field experience with hydrogeochemical and microbiological analysis of water including quality assessment studies and hydrochemical modelling, and skills in handling the GIS for environmental modelling.

NCESS Salary

2.	Project Associate-I	Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under above.
3.	Project Associate-II	Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 28,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under above.
4.	Project Scientist-I	Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA
5.	Project Scientist-II	Rs. 67,000/- plus HRA
