Storyline Pawankhind
The story revolves around the great Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. When he is trapped inside the Panhala fort due to siege laid by Siddi Jauhar of Bijapur, he plans a mega escape plan with his 600 soldiers.
When he reaches half way, enemy is in hot pursuit. His legendary warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande with 300 men holds back an advancing enemy army of 10,000 men till King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj safely reaches the fort of Vishalgad.

Battle of Pävankhind was a historic last stand, battle that took place on 13 July 1660, at the ‘Ghod khind’, mountain pass in the vicinity of fort Vishalgad, near the city of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India between the Maratha Warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande, Sambhu Singh Jadhav and Siddi Masud of Adilshah Sultanate.
The engagement ended with the destruction of the Maratha forces, and a tactical victory for the Bijapur Sultanate, but failing to achieve a strategic victory.
