Storyline

Bullet Train Unlucky assassin Ladybug (Brad Pitt) is determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs has gone off the rails. Fate has other plans, however: Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe–all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives–on the world’s fastest train. The end of the line is just the beginning in this non-stop thrill-ride through modern-day Japan.

Bullet Train follows the story of five assassins who board the train only for their lives to intersect. The story is an action thriller laced with dark humour which makes it a delicious watch. The screenplay at just over two hours is just about the right length and it guarantees a lot of fun!

The drama opens with seemingly unrelated characters each having a past who board the bullet train. Now this could have been a tricky bit of writing but the writers have ensured to simplify this seemingly convoluted tale which is easily digestable for the audience.

Also, the setup is perfect for the drama to unfold. There is something about the dramas in trains be it Train to Busan or this. The setup does work beautifully here.
