Cordite Factory Aruvankadu Recruitment 2024 Notification for 156 AOCP – Tenure Based CPW Posts: Cordite Factory Aruvankadu invites applications for Tenure-Based CPW (Contract Personnel Worker) positions from candidates with an AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) trade background. These positions are on a contract basis, to work at the factory located in Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, for a period of one year from the date of engagement.
Eligibility is open to Indian citizens. The tenure-based employment can terminated at any time by either party with one month’s notice or payment of the Basic Pay plus DA components in the consolidated remuneration in lieu of the notice period. Selections will be based on the factory’s requirements and individual performance.

Job Specification: Core Technical area of Defence Manufacturing.
Cordite Factory Aruvankadu AOCP Age Limit:
(1) Between 18 and 35 years for General Candidates.
(2) Age relaxation, as admissible will given to OBC-NCL, SC/ST & Ex-SM candidates.
Cordite Factory Aruvankadu AOCP Salary:
Basic Pay ₹ 19900 + DA.
Cordite Factory Aruvankadu AOCP Qualification:
(1) Essential: Matriculation + NAC / NTC issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP Trade, having completed the course from government/ private organisation having affiliation from government, and those from Government ITI.
(2) Desirable: Possessing Ordnance Factories training or experience in manufacturing and handling military explosives and ammunitions.
Cordite Factory Aruvankadu AOCP Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on the marks scored in the NCTVT exam and the Trade Test/Practical Test, ranked in order of merit. The Cordite Factory will determine the cut-off percentage for calling candidates for the Trade Test based on the total marks secured in the NCTVT exam.
- A merit list will prepared based on the combined marks from the NCTVT exam and the Trade Test/Practical Test.
- The weighting of marks will be 80% for the NCTVT exam and 20% for the Trade Test/Practical Test.
