Apply online through nitplrrc.com: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of West Central Railway (WCR), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), is inviting online applications from eligible candidates who have passed ITI for the engagement of Apprentices for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in designated trades at Units/Workshops in the West Central Railway.
The WCR Railway Apprentice 2023 Online Application Registration process started on December 15, 2023, and is scheduled to close on January 14, 2024. Apprentice selection will be based on Qualification Marks and Merit list only.

✅ West Central Railway Apprentice Age Limit:
✔️ Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years as on 14th December 2023.
✔️ Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PwD.
✅ West Central Railway Apprentice Stipend:
The West Central Railway Apprentice Salary, Monthly Stipend as per Apprentice Act 1961.
✅ West Central Railway Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ The candidates must have passed SSC / Matriculation / 10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
✔️ Candidates must have passed ITI in relevant trade issued by NCVT / SCVT recognized by Government of India.
✅ West Central Railway Apprentice Selection Process:
✔️ The selection process for West Central Railway Apprentices will be based on a merit list comprising all eligible candidates who apply in response to the notification. This merit list will be formulated by considering the average marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system), along with ITI/Trade marks.
✔️ The merit list will be categorized according to the trade, division, unit, and community chosen by the candidate. Verification of documents will be carried out by the concerned division/unit in accordance with existing rules. Upon confirming the candidate’s suitability, the respective division/unit will proceed with the engagement.
✔️ In instances where two candidates share the same marks, preference will be given to the candidate with the older age. If the dates of birth are identical, priority will be given to the candidate who passed the matriculation examination earlier.
✔️ A final merit list will be compiled, organized by trade, division/unit, and community. This list will be equal to the number of available slots, arranged in descending order of the percentage of marks obtained by each candidate, as explained earlier.
✔️ In the event of a shortage of candidates in a specific trade in any division/ unit, the RRC reserves the right to allocate waiting list candidates from that particular trade in other divisions/units, based on merit.
✅ West Central Railway Apprentice Application Fee:
₹ 136/- for General / OBC category and other state candidates.
₹ 36/- for SC / ST / PwBD / Women candidates.
